Named after the loamy soil in which it is grown, this is a lovely Prosecco
spumante of brilliant, straw yellow color and a myriad of tiny bubbles that
build a most gentle mousse in your mouth. It possesses a fresh, intense
bouquet of wild flowers and characteristic scents of green apple. A perfect
drink for hot summer days..

Grüner Veltliner, Hirsch'05, 750 ml - white

You may have never heard of Grüner Veltliner. So do yourself a favor and
acquaint yourself with this extraordinary and extremely versatile varietal
right away. Little known outside its true home of northeastern Austria,
where it thrives in a soil named 'löss' (which is actually packed sand from
the Sahara desert, blown in during and after the last ice age). It produces
a wide range of styles, from fresh and fruity wines for easy, uncomplicated
quaffing to serious, multi-layered, complex wines. However, all share a
squeaky clean, mouth watering elegance that undoubtedly will capture your
attention right away.The Hirsch GV with its somewhat extravagant, yet appealing label is
definitely charming, with a fruity nose and a slightly spicy aspect. 11,5%
alcohol makes it very accessible on hot days. Enjoy it with a wide variety
of food, incl. sausages, ham, bacon and veal, salads, soup, seafood, fish,
etc.

  Fleshy and fresh Barbera with firm backbone and charming perfumed aromas of berries and cherries, with hints of roses. Round and silky, with lots of
fruit and a caressing finish. "Good breeding" takes on a new meaning when
you realize that this hearty wine was crafted in stainless steel only - no
wood at all! How a modern Barbera should be and, since it has no wood, very suitable for summer drinking. Serve it slightly chilled.
